Bai Qi stretched out his body once he had finished checking his report. When he looked up again, he was surprised to see that it was already late.
He shut down his laptop and decided to stop by the nurse's station before he returned for a nap.
The corridor was dimly lit. Seeing that there was a figure standing in the middle of the corridor made him halt. It took him a while to realize that it was a patient.

Judging from her side profile, Bai Qi was sure that the person in front of him was someone he knew.

The person turned to look at him.
When their gazes met, Bai Qi could notice a light lit up in the woman's eyes. "Doctor Bai."
"You... what are you doing here?" Bai Qi looked around and saw that they were not far away from her room. "Aren't you supposed to be resting?" A thought came to his mind and his brow furrowed. "Are you feeling uncomfortable?"
