It was already nighttime when Bai Qi returned home.
Zhang Li Xue returned to her bedroom after tucking in her children to sleep. Seeing her husband's figure in the room made her smile. "You're back."
"Un." Bai Qi put down the phone in his hand after sending a text to his colleagues. Then, he looked at his wife and gave her a peck on the lips. Then, he turned around and started to unbutton his shirt, wanting to go and take his shower.
"Are you going to take a shower?"
"Un." Bai Qi nodded again.
It was his habit to take a shower after coming back from the hospital.
Just then, a pair of arms appeared in front of him. Seeing his wife helping him unbutton his shirt made him raise his brow.
"I have something to talk to you about," Zhang Li Xue spoke before Bai Qi could say anything. She watched as her husband stood still and decided to tell him about what Bai Xi Xi had told her earlier.
