After returning to his office, Bai Qi took out his phone and played with it for a while. After a long hesitation, he opened the messaging app and sent a text to his wife.
Thinking that she was asleep and that she would probably see it in the morning, Bai Qi then put his phone on his table and heaved a long sigh.
