Fu Chen had a lot of things that he wanted to say to Bai Xi XI.
However, the words that he wanted to say were stuck in his throat the moment she saw Bai Xi Xi in front of him. One look at her face already told him that Bai Xi Xi had just woken up from her sleep.
"You did not answer to my call or texts, I got worried," Fu Chen said.
Bai Xi Xi looked at Fu Chen with a sense of guilt. "I'm sorry. My phone was on mute and I forgot to turn them on again."
"You were sleeping?"
Bai Xi Xi nodded. Then, realizing that they were still in the hallway, Bai Xi Xi took a step back to make some room for Fu Chen to come in. "You should come in."
Fu Chen stepped into the room before turning to his girlfriend again. "Your sister-in-law told me that you should still be in your hotel room. She gave me your room's number."
