In Y City, Zhang Li Xue was looking for her husband when she found him sitting alone in his office. Seeing the stack of papers at the side made her sigh, thinking that Bai Qi was probably working on his journal.
But after a while, Zhang Li Xue realized that Bai Qi was staring into space.
She stood at the side to watch him for a while. Then, Zhang Li Xue walked over to his desk and rapped her knuckle on the table.
The sound made Bai Qi looked up.
Bai Qi could not hide his surprise upon seeing his wife standing in front of him.
"Doctor Bai." Zhang Li Xue flashed a smile. "What are you thinking about?"
Bai Qi lowered his head to look at the documents on his table. Then, he looked up again and flashed his wife a faint smile.
Zhang Li Xue walked around the table before wrapping his arms around Bai Qi's shoulder. She pressed her lips on Bai Qi's cheek and looked at him with her brow rose. "Is it about Xi Xi?"
