Rose woke up slowly. She wanted to hold Evan's head from tilting, but before she could sit adequately, she heard Evan scolding her.
"Why are you awake? Sleep again…" He deftly helped her to lie back down, but she immediately refused.
"Hubby, I'm feeling much better after a few hours of sleep." Rose sits on the bed after Evan helps her to sit comfortably. "Evan, you look exhausted. You should sleep, or you may be sick!"
"Do you feel hungry? Do you want me to buy food for you?" Evan completely ignores her words.
"I'm not hungry…" Rose shook her head. She is not hungry. But, what bothers her mind now, is her mother's condition. "How is mom? Did the surgery go well?" She saw a clock in the room. Almost 9 PM. Her mother should have finished the surgery, right!?
"The surgery finishes. And success. But, at this moment, Mother is still in the recovery room. She'll be in that room for a few hours. We can't meet her now, not yet…."
