The Next Morning.
That morning after breakfast, Rose went straight to Oliver's room. Just as she was about to knock, the door opened from the inside. She saw Oliver's Grandma out of the room.
"Little Rose, what a coincidence... Could you accompany Oliver for a while?" said Grandma as she held Rose's hand gently.
"Of course, Grandma…" Rose smiled as she watched Grandma leave. For a slight moment, she stood there until Grandma entered the elevator.
After she entered the room, she was speechless to see Oliver sitting on the bed enjoying his breakfast. His eyes were focused on the TV hanging not far in front of him. He looked healthy, different from the last time she saw him looking weak and helpless.
If she hadn't seen the bandage peeking out from under his hospital gown, she might have thought Oliver wasn't severely injured yesterday.
