Chu Jing was sitting opposite her with a smile on his face. He quietly listened to Chu Ning's words and watched her go on until she closed her eyes and fell asleep.
Chu Jing did not wake Chu Ning up. Instead, he tried his best to control the sound of his footsteps. He walked into Chu Ning's room and took out her blanket. Only after he covered Chu Ning with it did Chu Jing walk back to his room.
Chu Ning's sleep was exceptionally peaceful. Although she had only slept for less than an hour, she felt like a long time had passed when she woke up.
