At around 1:45 AM, a black car drove in front of a huge mansion.
A man existed from the car and opened the door for a woman.
She came out of the car and they hugged their selves good night.
The woman then walked towards the front of the huge mansion, she opened the door with a key and went inside.
Everywhere was dark but she managed to find her way around, she went upstairs and towards her room.
She wore a red sexy evening gown, and her make-up was heavy but her Beauty was extraordinary.
She entered her room and dropped her bag on the ground, but just when she was about to lay on her huge bed.
Huge hands grabbed her and pinned her to the wall, "Where do you think you are coming from Rena? At this time of the night?"
Mike looked at Rena with anger and rage as he questioned her, "I asked you a question?"
Looking at Mike, Rena said in a drunken state, "I went to one of my old friend's company opening ceremony, but I have to say..... I'm really happy that you couldn't sleep without me and that you waited until I got back just to see me (Chuckle)."
"(scoffs)....do you know what happened to Annabel today?" He voiced out.
Hearing that, Rena rolled her eyes and said, "Let me guess, she hit her head or.....maybe she got A+ in a math assignment."
Upon hearing that, Mike stared at Rena with disgust as he pinned her harder to the wall and said, "She fainted! And do you know why she fainted? My daughter fainted because of starvation."
"Oh! really, that's ridiculous...how can the daughter of one of the biggest bigshots in all of Graceland starve, you must be mistaken."
"Yeah, I also know it's something ridiculous but do you know it happened, and do you know who caused it."
Rena looked at him, smiled and then said, "let me guess.....the maids." hearing that Mike smiled and said, "no..no..no you are wrong, it wasn't the maid... it was a stupid woman named 'Rena'."
Hearing that Rena's expression changed, she then said, "What do you want from me Mike, why do you treat me like this."
Mike looked at her and said, "I treat you how you should be treated...you are a heartless woman, I don't even know how you were even blessed with a child...you will let your daughter starve, what else can't you do to that poor girl."
Rena removed her hands, pushed mike, and then said, "Are you done.....tell me Mike are you done insulting me, calling me names...so what if I did starve her, it's not like her hero daddy won't come to save her like always."
"Mike why do you treat me like this, I'm your wife but you don't even love me... every single day it's Annabel this... Annabel that. why won't I hate her to tell me, WHY."
"Well for your information....if not for that same Annabel you hate so much, I would have thrown you out of my house and divorced you right here and right now. if not for that Annabel you hate so much, I won't have ever married you in the first place.....so you better thank her, for she is the reason why you still have the gut to call me your husband."
Saying that Mike stormed off angrily, leaving Rena in tears.

Meanwhile, in a little nice apartment. seated opposite one another were two women, "So are the boys asleep."
Looking at her friend, Katherine said, "yes they are asleep, they helped me unpack but I'm sure they are really tired so I told them to stop and sleep."
Smiling, Ruby said, "They are really responsible, they will help their mother with anything."
Smiling at Ruby's words, Katherine said, " Thank you for everything Kate, I don't know what i would even do without you."
Hearing that, Ruby smiled and said, "Don't say that, I'm really happy that you have finally decided to move on and start afresh. I've already gotten a job for you."
Katherine said, "A job, where and what type of job." she said anxiously.
Ruby said, "it's a job as a secretary to the CEO of a fashion industry here in Graceland, you will go for the interview tomorrow so you should rest well, ok."
Hearing that Katherine nodded and said, "ok I will, and the boys will also start school tomorrow so can you please take them."
"sure I guess I'll take them." saying that the two women discussed and parted ways.
Katherine could tell that her future was in Graceland and all she needed was her boys and all would be fine.

The next day, Mike woke up as early as he could because he didn't even want to see the face of his so called wife. He took his bathe and went downstairs.
He entered his daughter room and saw Kate seated on the bed beside Annabel. He guessed that she had spent the night with Annabel.
Upon seeing Mike, Kate stood up and greeted him, "Good morning Mike."
"Morning, is my sweetheart awake already." hearing that, Kate said, "no she isn't but when she wakes up I'm gonna give her some soup."
Hearing that Mike nodded and said, "ok then, if she is still a little weak so don't take her to school today. I will be back a little late today ok."
Hearing that Kate nodded and Mike left the room after giving Annabel a kiss on her forehead.
Mike entered his car and drove off, he was a little surprised that his secretary 'Jim' haven't come to pick him up yet.
He got to his company at 8:46 PM and made his way to his office.
As his entered his company, his employees greeted him one by one until he got into the elevator and made his way to his office.
The Xi's nterprises is one of the biggest enterprise in Graceland, it ranked 2nd after the parker's enterprises.
The company was massive and space full. when entering the company, you could see a huge space and far ahead is the receptionist station.
Each department was for each floor and the highest floor was were Mike's office was, including his secretary and personal assistant.
When he got to his office, he removed his suit and placed it on his hanger. he then collapsed on his chair.
His office was huge, it had a big window beside his desk. The other place beside him, had a couch and table.
His office was painted gray and white and it had a dark-ish appearance but it looked ok.
Few minutes later mike heard a knock on the door and he then said, "come in." hearing that, a woman opened the door and entered his office.
The woman looked like a woman in her early thirty's. she was not too tall and not too short. she had short blonde hair and black eyes. she wore a Ash suit and skirt.
She walked closer to Mike's desk, bowed and said, "Good morning sir."
Raising his head up, Mike said, "morning Emma.....uumm did you hear from Him, I didn't see him today on my way to work. Is everything alright."
She stood straight and then said, "Sir don't you know."
A little confused Mike said, "know what exactly?"
Looking at Mike, Emma then said, "umm Jim is going to California to go see his future wife to be, and also for his wedding and honeymoon."
Upon hearing that, Mike widen his eyes in shock as he tapped his head with his hands and then said, "Ahh! yes..yes he told me about it some few days ago, but I've been occupied with some work and I had forgotten..... ummm did you give him his pay for the month."
Nodding her head, Emma then said, "Yes! i did and he said to thank you."
Hearing that, Mike said, "well that's good then...well I guess I'm going to be taking care of my self now...since I now have no secretary."
Hearing that, Emma then said, "No! sir....well before Jim left he brought a replacement for you, umm I've already had a conversation with her and she is on her way here right now for the interview."
Hearing that, Mike sighed and then said, "ok then....when she arrives, send her to me."
Emma said, "yes sir."
With nothing more to say, Emma excused herself and then left.
Little did those two know that this was the beginning of a journey of 'love, hate and deception'
