"Cole!"
Henry opened the door to Cole's room while calling his name. He looked around the room and even checked the bathroom for any signs of Cole. When nobody answered, he rushed back to the hallway.
Merry had also followed him to Cole's room but even before she could reach there, Henry had already returned after checking the room.
"I told you, he isn't there."
"Yeah. Do you know what time did he return yesterday?"
"No, I haven't seen him since yesterday morning. Do you think something happened to him?"
Merry's vision started to get blurry because of the emerging tears.
"What could happen to him?" Henry said with a slight snicker in his voice. But as soon as he turned his head towards Merry and saw her face, he immediately regretted it.
"Merry, I am sure he is fine. Most probably the lessons must have extended."
