"Can we skip breakfast? I want to go home." I fold my arms stubbornly.
"Don't tell me, you are tired, already?"
"I am. I wish to go home." Back home is better than going on this shopping with him. I'm not in the mood to endure more of his bossy side.
"You are not going home until you are through with today. I cancelled all my busy meetings for you, and you intend to go?"
"You still have that lunch meeting, have you forgotten?" I purse my lips.
"She's leaving for the states tomorrow. We need to finalize everything before she leaves, that was why I didn't cancel it. If it pleases you, I can allow you to go back, and I will call her for a business breakfast." He brought his phone out of his pocket and made to dial a number.
"I will go with you."
Far be it, I will allow my husband to have a business meeting with a female, alone. Who knows what that she-devil might do if I'm not there to stop her?
