"If she is dead then we just need to investigate her murder and hope to find some clues. if she is alive then we can just use her as bait. If the killer's still alive and active, he'll definitely fall for it."
"But how do we find her?"
"You have me for that!" Jie Fu Lian happily exclaimed as he pointed at himself, "I have seen her face and I am now the demon king who can sniff out other demons even from their hideouts. As long as you have me, we can definitely find her."
Hua Tianshu couldn't felt but feel that the man's words were a bit ridiculous, but at the end of the day, he still smiled as he nodded his head.
They stayed around till Bai LiuXian's corpse was found and afterwards, they soon left the memory.
Back at the information guild, Duan Luoyang and Bai YiJun were anxiously waiting for them to return.
"Shizun, I saw him!" Duan Luoyang immediately jumped at Hua Tianshu and tightly clutched onto his sleeve as he exclaimed with a face that was as white as paper and eyes that looked as if they'd seen a ghost, "It was him! It was Master Jie Fu Lian! But it can't be him! How can it be him? But I saw it very clearly. There is no mistaking it. It was definitely Young Master Jie Fu Lian! But how can that be? Shizun, what do you think? It can't be him, right?"
The man looked to a bit traumatized with what he had seen and he looked at Hua Tianshu with hopeful eyes that were pleading the man to say something that would help him calm down.
Hua Tianshu sighed as he gently patted the man's head, "Don't worry, it wasn't the real Jie Ming."
Jie Fu Lian felt a little pity for Duan Luoyang who wanted to believe in him so much that he was trying to reject what he had seen with his own two eyes. However, although he felt pity, it didn't matter much since he still felt a little annoyed when he saw Duan Luoyang clinging onto Hua Tianshu.
There was once a time when Hua Tianshu was somebody that Jie Fu Lian could only look up to, and then, when Jie Fu Lian also became an outstanding talent that stood on top of the martial world, Hua Tianshu became somebody of equal footing. However, even then, he still didn't dare cling to Hua Tianshu like this.

Duan Luoyang side-glanced at Jie Fu Lian with a little pity as he thought, 'Uncle Fu, even I can't save you from Shizun if you slander me like this in front of him.'
The disciple was quite confident and proud so he didn't say anything to defend himself, believing that his Shizun would speak up for him.
However, for the first time in his life, Duan Luoyang was confused as he saw his Shizun pushing him away upon hearing the words of another.
"He's right. Duan Luoyang, haven't I taught you manners? It was just a little shock on seeing a face that looked like Jie Ming. Why are you acting like a child?"
"..." Duan Luoyang felt very wronged and stared at Hua Tianshu with eyes that were ready to cry out a river.
Jie Fu Lian smirked as he heard these words from Hua Tianshu and felt as if he had become a villain for inciting Hua Tianshu like this, but it was still quite a satisfying experience.
Bai YiJun, who had been there from beginning till end, saw this entire exchange and quitely looked at Jie Fu Lian with an intrigued expression plastered on his face.
Since they had entered this place, Bai YiJun already had a feeling that the relationship between Hua Tianshu and Jie Fu Lian was quite special.
The way Hua Tianshu looked at this unknown man with the surname Fu... It was exactly the same as before when he used look at brother Jie Ming.
The way the man got jealous and the way Hua Tianshu had pushed away his precious disciple to please this man... It was quite clear what their relationship was.
For some reason, Bai YiJun felt a little bitter as he glared at Hua Tianshu.
He had always hated Hua Tianshu because of how much infatuated the man was with his best friend. However, at the same time, this was also the very reason why he had any respect for Hua Tianshu.

"There wasn't really much to talk about," Jie Fu Lian coughed as he spoke.
"Then why don't you entertain me a little?" Bai YiJun asked with a grin, "Since this case deeply involves my brother, I am also curious to know what you found in there."
"We have no reason to share our information with you," Hua Tianshu replied as he glared at the man.
"Unless, of course, you offer something in return," Jie Fu Lian added with a small laugh, "This is an information guild, no information in here is for free."
"..." Bai YiJun couldn't help but look at the man and want to punch him.
'This is my information guild! I was the one who sent you three into that memory! How dare you try to beat me at my own game?!'
"So Bai YiJun, let's make a deal," Jie Fu Lian approached the man with a sinister smile as he continued, "We'll tell you what we found if you help us find the person that we are looking for."
"This is an information guild. We find information not people," Bai YiJun politely replied.
"No, you'll find people as well if that is what I want you to do," Jie Fu Lian spoke as he took out a pouch filled with gold coins, "Here's the payment for letting us use your services just now. I'm quite a rich and loyal customer so you probably wouldn't want to lose me."
Bai YiJun gulped as he looked at the money pouch. He was well aware of how rich this unknown man surnamed Fu was. He had literally been throwing money away on the streets ever since he arrived so it was hard not to notice how deep his pockets were, but he was still surprised at how careless this man was with his money.
Bai YiJun side-glanced at Hua Tianshu as he secretly wondered, 'Could it be because of the money that Hua Tianshu decided to chase him? He couldn't get love since Jie Fu Lian was dead so now he wants to get money by keeping a stand-in?!'
Bai YiJun's hatred for Hua Tianshu grew a little.
