"Hey, Precious " Jamal whispered very softly before grinning, "Miss me?"
Xaloc nodded, his brain not yet fully waking up, he could only mutter blankly, "How?"
Jamal's moment of recollection was enough for Xaloc to fully wake up. He grinned and blinked his eyes in mock coyness, "No need to answer, your lover is me after all, it is understandable for you to rush over any moment you are free." He gently brushed his finger across Jamal's face and he studied the man's features.
The lights in the room drew out the shadows and hardlines on Jamal's gorgeous face more clearly; his nose and jawline were clean-cut and steep, the corner of his lips sharp to a point. Even though his eyebrows weren't pressed together, they weren't fully relaxed either; there was an almost unnoticeable tightness between those brows.
