Chapter 200 - Closure

The scent of sage wood filled the air as Ozias traced a thin line from the altar to a circle with white chalk. His eyes glowed as he mumbled some words beneath his breath, bending over to lit the incense burner. 

Within an hour the bare floor had been transformed into a maze of runes and glowing hieroglyphics, Lux and Xaloc floated above in silence, watching as Ozias made the ritual for the transferring of memories.

"You don't need to do this. Ozias had already viewed those memories, he could tell us everyone that was responsible." Xaloc suddenly said. He had told Lux that it was up to him but such terrible memories, bearing them alone...Dissociative amnesia, the trauma had been too much for Uriel to bear that he had forcefully forgotten every piece of his past and killed himself the moment he remembered. Seeing your lover go through things would crush someone.
