Chapter 41 - The Cage

Xaloc finished his bowl of noodles without speaking. He stood up, carried his bag and walked out of the rest area.

The moment he closed the door behind him, the scene before his eyes changed and a loud cacophony of noise entered his ears. 

He looked around. This was a raised stage that was three or four hundred meters in diameter. It reminded Xaloc of those stages used in Wrestle Mania back in the mortal realm. Long black chains instead of ropes formed half a circle behind him and a black round tunnel took the space in front of him.

It was like a cage.

He could not see the voices around him but he was capable of hearing them extremely well as they screamed various words in excitement. It felt so real like he was under the view of thousands of people.

He let out a soft breath, calming himself down as he looked around him.
