The spectators in the arena watched while commenting.
"I don't understand. When I heard that Lord Hovodan chose an apprentice from the third class, I felt like the person would be some sort of black horse. A hidden genius, maybe something happened in the examination causing him to lose his mark but this person is just weak."
His companion nodded, "This Xaloc is just weak. I am getting bored. Should we go back?"
Not far from them Lux and Uriel sat eating roasted groundnuts. Lux had a lot of handy tools so they had roasted the ground nuts before coming.
"Come to think of it, I have never seen him fight before." Lux said as he popped one in his mouth, he then chuckled, "He sucks at combat! I am not even a fighter but I can win against him without using my powers."
Uriel dipped his hand in the bowl and collected another fist of ground nuts. He then lifted the mask slightly and threw them in.
