Chapter 71 - Slave Market

Xaloc and Tafari walked further till they reached the end of the long line of the merchant carved. It was a very huge tent. The makeshift stall was the biggest so far.

They could see a lot of people tripping in, children, men and women but somehow, Xaloc felt cold. He had that instinct that he would not like what he would find in that tent.

He glanced at Tafari only to see the other very tense and was breathing loudly.

Xaloc connected the dots at once. This was a slave tent.

"You said you were looking for someone. Is it here?"

Tafari paused and then nodded. Xaloc stalled himself and entered the tent.

He could taste a foul stench on his mouth the moment he saw what lay in front of him. Insanity and Cruelty.

There were iron cages everywhere filled with living people. 

Some cages were not up to the size of a human being so the people in it had to kneel.

Xaloc's stomach turned.
