Jamal woke up to the buzzing and chirping of birds and insects outside the window. An owl's call echoed across the garden, acting as an alarm clock and Jamal's eyes flickered open and he blinked a couple of times before he focused on the sight of Xaloc resting on a pillow next to him.
His long eyelashes turned downwards as his slightly messy hair made him even more enchanting. Unlike when he was awake, the arrogant and cold aura was absent, and one could describe his features as that of a soft, innocent angel.
The moment the thought entered his head, the memories of all the events that happened yesterday soon flooded his head.
