"Haven't you miss your brother too?" Matteo smiled and ruffled her hair affectionately.
Beatrix hugged him too, "Of course I have brother!"
Remo stood there and watched the interaction, his face blank.
"Hey Remo." Beatrix said smiling at him, her smile dropped when he didn't smile back at her.
Beatrix's heart couldn't help but sank.
"Why the fuck do you look like that?!" He bellowed his brows furrowed together.
Beatrix blinked, a faint flush staining her cheeks.
"Don't tell me that bastard has been maltreating you to the extent that he can't even give you a proper meal?"
Remo strode towards her and grabbed her hand as he gave her a once over.
"I've just been really busy with getting to know how to run a home." Beatrix replied, trying to deflect the question.
"Bullshit. You're skin and bones now. What, did your fiancé put you on some crazy diet or something?"
