"You have been away from home for a long time. I know you miss your family. I think you should go home for now."
He muttered, his voice laced with sadness as he swallowed, and he leaned forward to press another lingering kiss to her forehead.
"You're joking right?" She asked in a single breath, her eyes darting between his as the colour drained from her face.
"No. I'm not. Go home with Remo." he said, swallowing again like he was fighting to get his words out
"Wait, no hang on a minute. What the hell are you suddenly saying? I'm not going with Remo, I'm not going home. This is home. Home is wherever you're Damien."
She told him, feeling the blood pounding in her ears.
"I'm already home with you." She added.
Damien shook his head, his brows tilting together.
"Your presence has started irritating me. I think some distance will help us. To find our spark again."
