"So you saw his mate?" David asked as his sister dressed.
"Yeah. She has fae abilities," she said. "Couldn't you bring a sweatshirt or something?" She scoffed at the contents of the bag.
David rolled his eyes. She sure went from imagining the worst possible future scenarios to criticizing him again awfully fast.
"Since when do you wear sweatshirts? You're lycan. Your body temperature…" he stopped when he noticed her teeth still chattering. "It's the fear. It will pass soon," he said more gently.
"I know," her bottom lip trembled.
"How do you know she has abilities like that?" He asked. "Did you see them? Is she alyko?"
