She sat quietly in the passenger seat on their way back to the palace. She looked outside but barely saw anything, not because it was already dark but because her mind was busy with something else.
"Are you still angry with me?" Liam asked, taking her silence as a reflection of how she felt.
She did not know, but somehow, she felt different about him. Yes, she was mad for a few minutes but believed she could not stay mad at him for too long. He had this charm that could melt her anger in just an instant.
"No." Luisa finally said to him as she turned to face him. "But when a girl says she is sorry, she meant it. So don't make fun of her." She guessed she still had a little grudge.
"Ok. I will take note of that. No more stupid jokes." He responded with a silly grin. Like it or not, she could not help but smile too. "Am I truly forgiven?" He finally asked.
