Nope, no storms just yet.
But just some strong waves that would rock her boat.
She had never felt inferior or insecure about her clothes or the material things she possessed. She had learned that what was in her heart was what mattered more, rather than anything else.
But how she looked at her, she wondered if she would be enough for the Prince if this had been real. Judging from the Princess's clothes and appearance, maybe, in a way, she might be lacking. Or should she say more than inadequate?
"Sorry. But what?" It was her turn to stare at the young woman, debating whether she had heard her correctly. "Why would you want to be friends with me?"
She hardly knew her. Why would she suddenly want to be her friend? Besides, she did not believe that these people associated themselves with a commoner like her.
