It was late, and he was exhausted.
He had to admit that he was not as young as he used to be. But he was not saying he was old too. Still, he missed the old days when he could readily race on the tracks and release all this tension.
Nevertheless, the responsibility toward his position and his obligation to his family had taken a toll on his mind and body as he thought of the incident earlier. He could not help but wonder what he would do to mitigate this situation.
"Mmm!" He sighed, knowing that he had no clue what to do. Giving up on sleep, he stood from the bed and walked toward the balcony of his room. He knew he needed to breathe some fresh air and think.
But silence seemed to elude him as a loud knock on his bedroom door, followed by his wife's angry voice, echoed inside his room. Soon, his wife's face, full of rage, appeared in front of him.
