She looked around the ballroom, wondering if she should go through her plan. She believed those girls deserved it, but she risked ruining her special night if she failed. Besides, it was childish to stoop to their level.
She turned away from the girls she recognized in the bathroom. Of course, she took a peek and saw who they were. Back in high school, she called them mean girls. She assumed nothing had changed through the years.
"Have you seen Liam?" She asked Cole, engrossed with two ladies giving him their undivided attention.
"No." Her friend shook his head and focused his eyes on her. "I haven't. Do you want me to help you look for him?" He immediately offered.
But, of course, she did not want to miss his chance to meet the right one, so she declined his assistance. "There is no need." She also moved her head from left to right. "I am sure he is just someone here, talking to someone."
