He woke up with a splitting headache. It could be due to the wine he had consumed last night or the lack of sleep because of their late-night activities. But he quickly opened his eyes when he heard the buzzing on his side.
Quickly, he grabbed his phone and walked naked to the bathroom to get a towel. "Yes," Liam hastily answered the call without looking at the screen. "Wait a minute." He added.
He just needed to stop the ringing before it woke Luisa from sleep. Then, he pulled a towel and wrapped it around his waist before walking to the balcony to continue his call out there.
"What is it, Clay?" He finally spoke on the line when he had closed the door. He peeked at the door inside and felt relieved that his fiance was still peacefully sleeping on the bed.
"I am sorry for the early call, but I think you will want to know what I discovered last night." His friend said that immediately alerted him and drove away any leftover fogginess in his brain.
