He had silently watched the rest of the people in the crowd do their business. He had stayed in the corner, away from the prying eyes, wanting to avoid attention on himself.
He had remained ahead in this game by being on top of the situation. But admittedly, he had dropped the ball. He thought all had gone according to his plan. But he should have known better not to let his guard down.
Now he was trying to catch up before he lost control of everything, and all hell broke loose. He could not let everything he had worked hard to achieve from going down the drain, not while he was still alive.
"Sir," A mild hesitant voice suddenly spoke behind him. He already knew who it was, so he did not bother to turn around. His eyes remained focused on observing the activities on the floor.
"Yes, what do you have for me?" He eventually asked when he was ready to listen to his report.
