The sound of the ominous thunder cracked through flashes of lightning, as though it wanted to peel the dark sky and caliginous lake open.
"Master Yuze, someone has jumped into the water!" A man reminded his superior who was beside him after they heard a splash.
"I know!" The person whom he addressed as Master Yuze replied. As a flash of lightning got emitted from the sky, the face of the man was visible for a few seconds.
Jia Yuze had a gentle and cheerful personality, his face like a white jade. He was about 5 feet 10 inches tall with a neat and clean face. Not overly handsome, but he was still a feast to look at.
However, now his gentle face was clouded with worry. He saw that there was no struggling in the water and no sign of any human in there.
He did not delay any longer and quickly jumped into the water.
"Master Yuze!" His subordinate shouted in worry. However, Jia Yuze was long gone.
