Lu Yaran had only one motive. She wanted to defame Qin Yan. Her words reflected Qin Yan's bratty behaviour and she successfully angered her husband more.
"Qin Yan! Are you not listening to your father? Are you rebelling now?" Qin Yicheng asked furiously.
Discerning that the matter is going out of hand, Teacher Wang tried to pacify Qin Yicheng, "Mr.Qin, please calm down. We should ask the students what is going on before we judge anyone."
"Teacher Wang, you are too kind. But we have watched the video. Qin Yan is clearly at fault here. She needs to apologise otherwise she won't learn her lesson," Lu Yaran said with a tone of a strict parent.
Mother Jiang looked at her son sternly, "Jiang Yao, what is going on? You better come clean in front of us, otherwise I will definitely make you suffer."
Looking at his mother's demeanor, Jiang Yao quickly shrank back. He was sure that if he didn't tell the truth now, his mother won't hold back.
Although getting beaten up by a girl was shameful, everybody already knew about the matter. It won't matter if he told the truth.
He looked at Qin Yan and seeing her nod, he immediately explained the matter from beginning to end.
Mother Jiang saw the little gestures of her son and was quite surprised seeing that he took permission from the girl before revealing the matter.
After hearing the truth, Zhen Chengyu, Mother Jiang and Mother Xing all were burning with anger.
Mother Xing scolded Xing Ningjing fiercely, "You brat, how dare you bully a girl! Is this what I teach you! Have I taught you to beat up girls! Where did you learn all this?" Getting to know that three boys had ganged up to beat a girl, Mother Xing was furious. Feeling his mother's anger, Xing Ningjing took two steps back timidly.
After realising that Qin Yan only retaliated in defence, Qin Yicheng felt a pang of guilt in his heart. He had criticized his daughter without knowing the whole situation. He glanced at Qin Yan and saw that she was exceptionally calm. It seemed that she was quite disappointed in him.
Lu Yaran naturally saw the guilt in her husband's eyes. She gritted her teeth in hatred. She was looking for an opportunity to berate Qin Yan and lower her place in Qin Yicheng's heart for a long time.
Today, it was a heaven sent opportunity. She was still unwilling to give up. Chiding Qin Yan's behaviour, Lu Yaran walked towards Mother Jiang and apologized, "Mrs. Jiang, I am sorry for my daughter's behaviour. I hope you won't hold it against her and our Qin family."
Mother Jiang felt that something was wrong with Lu Yaran's brain. She still insisted that her daughter was at fault. If it would be any normal mother, she would have scolded or beaten up the boys who bullied her daughter.
Not wishing to interact with a psycho like Lu Yaran, Mother Jiang directly ignored her and looked at her son coldly, "Jiang Yao, you really dare to do such things in school. Looking at his brother's creepy smile, Zhen Kai trembled violently. He admired his big brother a lot but at the same time, he feared him the most.
All the three boys looked over at Qin Yan pleadingly.
Qin Yan looked at the guardians with a smile in her eyes, "Mr. Zhen, Auntie Jiang and Aunty Xing, if you don't mind, I have something to say...
I think that three of them have already learnt their lesson and won't dare to do this anymore. Additionally, they have also promised me that they would study hard and improve their grades in mid-term examination. So, I think you should let them go," Qin Yan said with a clear voice neither too fast nor too slow.
