As dreadful shivers ran down his spine, Noah deliberately tried to crawl away from him. But before he could do so, his back touched the cold wall of the room, and flinched in shock. He realized that once again Xanthus had confined him against the wall and just like always, his mighty posture was blocking his way ahead from any kind of escape.
Watching him squirming and crawling back in fear, an irked sneer appeared on Xanthus as he narrowed his orbs at him. Clenching the bowl of blood in his grip, he uttered, "It's futile for you to escape. Didn't you hear me out? Either you drink the ox blood or die in my hands."
