Chapter 7 - CHAPTER 7

She found a helper who helped her to put everything that she bought inside the car and she gave him a tip before leaving.

There was no meat in TRANS, so she went to a supermarket where she bought some meat and vegetables. When she was done with everything, the sun had already set.

So, she drove to Cherry Court and this time she drove into the complex smoothly and headed for her villa.

On her way to her villa, she saw several people who she assumed to be her neighbours, and looking at the cars that were parked outside; it was evident that everyone was truly a big shot.

Diamond parked her car inside the garage as this made things easier for her when transporting the groceries inside.

It took her a while to finish taking everything inside and dumping it into the pantry. Packaging them nicely was something that she was going to do the next day.

It had been a while since she had eaten a home-cooked meal, so she quickly made something and ate by herself in such a huge villa. It was truly lonely, but what could she do now when it was just her?

After eating and washing dishes, she went to the third floor where she took a shower and changed into new pajamas. After that, she entered her blankets, took her new phone, and began to browse on her Ioniq account.

Diamond couldn't be called a charitable person who was dedicated 100% but she helped whenever she could as she couldn't afford to give to others when she didn't have enough.

The system had urged her to do good deeds, and doing charity was the best way for one to do something like that.

Giving to charities, foundations or trusts was another example of doing good deeds, but lately, with several cases where people were embezzling money from establishments like these, she didn't want her money to fall under such petty schemes.

So, the best way for her to do things was to start her own charity, which she could control. She won't be limited and whenever she wants to do something, she would be able to do that without any worries.

So, she began to browse how to start a charity organization and anything related to that. With a great Wi-Fi connection, her research was very fruitful, and she decided to continue the next day.

Before going to bed, she signed in once more, and this time she received a bottle of medicinal pills — healing pills.

These were too good to be true pills, and she was very happy to receive them as she immediately thought about her family. It had been a long since she saw them and it was time for her to go home and have a family reunion.

She slept with a beautiful smile on her face and woke up early the next day. The first thing she did after changing was to go out and jog around. She didn't usually exercise as she was busy working, but now with a lot of free time, she could at least maintain her well-being nicely.

As she was running, she finally met a neighbor who was also jogging, and the neighbor was a woman. She looked very pretty and probably in her thirties.

The lady who was running actually didn't want to run at all, but when she saw that the person from Villa 3 was running, her gossipy nature got to her and she decided to check on this new neighbor.

It wasn't a secret that the villas in Cherry Court were very expensive and they weren't available to just anyone. So, she was very curious about this person who didn't scream affluent family at all with a glance and wanted to learn more about her.

And what better way to do that than doing something like what she was doing?

Seeing another person, Diamond was very excited. She didn't know how to greet her neighbors as everyone seemed to be busy, so meeting one would smooth everything out and make it easier for her to approach others in the future.

"Hello there!" the newcomer greeted enthusiastically as she approached Diamond, who had slowed down to allow the newcomer to catch up.

Diamond smiled at the other and stopped running, "how are you?"

"Haha, I am doing okay, and you?"

"All is well, ae. I am Diamond, the owner of Villa 3, and you?" since it has come to this, it was better to start the introductions and get to know each other.

Cecilia was actually shocked to think that the owner of villa 3 was quite young. She thought that Diamond was a daughter or a relative of the real owner of the villa, so hearing this, she was taken aback seriously.

"I didn't expect the owner to be this young. This is truly amazing! I am Cecilia and I live in Villa 5," Cecilia responded warmly, making Diamond feel at ease.

Diamond was happy to hear this, and she began to open up to Cecilia as they talked. Of course, she didn't expose much about herself and also didn't ask much about Cecilia.

Time would tell everything, and she was going to be taking things slowly.

The morning jog ended successfully, and Cecilia successfully invited Diamond over to her villa for dinner.

Diamond took a warm shower and prepared some breakfast, which was cereals and some fruits. After breakfast, she left the villa without arranging her groceries, as she had other important things to do.

Her mission of that day was to visit the Registrar and get her national identification card renewed as she couldn't go around with the old one.

The government system of Orkney was very good and swift, so she wasn't worried about her new card coming out after many days.

When she arrived, there weren't many people in front of her, so she got served after an hour. After handling everything, she was told to come back to collect the card in the afternoon, which was better than returning the next day.

When she was done with this, she visited the Ministry of Road and Transport to get her driver's license renewed. The process was quite tiresome, as she was required to go through several tests.

She was actually happy, although it was tiring as she didn't have to book and then come another day to get everything done.

She took a long time doing the tests, but luckily for her, when she was done, she only waited for an hour before she left the offices with the new license.
