As soon as the three of them vanished from the powder room, the door was kicked open as Situ Mu Yan strolled inside in a leisurely manner, his face was blank and his eyes fell on the scroll which was burnt to a crisp and curled a side of his lips as he bent doubled and then picked up the burned pieces of the scroll before rubbing the charred black material in between his thumb and his forefinger before laughing out loud.
Fan Qiu who followed his master looked at the empty powder room and closed his eyes silently praying for Yin Zhu.
