The security system did not issue any alarm for He Juan had made sure to deactivate it firsthand.
He had just taken one step outside when Fang Yazhu said behind him, "Do you think this is the end, XIU? You… You are nothing but a thug. What makes you think that you can take control of the political world?" he sneered.
He Juan stared at the unconscious bodies of the bodyguards strewn all over the corridor. He did not even turn around as he replied, "You are right about one thing – I am indeed no more than a thug."
Fang Yazhu fell silent, presumably taken aback by his honest admittance.
