The corner of Liang Yuanjun's lips twitched into a smile. She looked far more relaxed compared to their last encounter as if a heavy weight had been loaded off her shoulders, and He Juan was glad to see this change in her.
"Good to see you too, Mr. Xiu. You may address me however you please. I believe we have no need to concern ourselves over formality any longer, right?" she offered her hand, which He Juan accepted with a firm shake. With a gesture towards the suite behind her, she beckoned for him to follow, "Please."
The door closed behind them, sealing off their conversation from prying ears and eyes. Out of habit, He Juan swiftly swept through every nook and cranny of the room to make sure that there was no listening device or hidden cameras installed. He moved with such ease that by the time Liang Yuanjun settled on the couch, he had already completed his thorough inspection over two bedrooms and was now checking the bathrooms.
