As the night deepened, He Juan and Mu Yuze settled on the couch with the TV playing a sci-fi movie which had once taken the world by storm when it had just been released. Mu Yuze had a plate of cake in his hand, courtesy of He Juan who finally took matters into his own hands after the boy kept dawdling, unable to bring himself to cut the precious cake.
As the savory matcha flavored danced on his taste buds, Mu Yuze found his gaze wandering to He Juan for the nth time. The light in the living room was dim, allowing the glow from the television screen to cast deep shadows over his captivating features. Even just sitting there and doing nothing, he looked so gorgeous that Mu Yuze found his breath being seized away.
All of a sudden, their gazes collided and Mu Yuze flinched so hard that the plate almost flew out of his hand.
