This ought to be the biggest crisis Mu Yuze had ever confronted in his life.
His entire body was soaked in sweat like a drenched cat that had just fallen into the sewer, large droplets rolling down his cheeks and some even got into his eyes. Unfortunately, he couldn't wipe them away, sending a stinging sensation through his retina. His whole arms and shoulders had gone numb from the relentless struggles, and he couldn't even feel the pain around his wrists anymore, though he could guess that bloody purple bruises must be forming there.
With each heavy breath, Mu Yuze measured the distance to the doorway and felt his heart sinking with heavy dread.
