He arrived there and laid Everly down on the bed.
"Aghhh." He groaned and clicked his tongue in annoyance as his eyes gazed at Everly, who was still unconscious. "You just like to make things hard for me. I wouldn't have hurt you if you had just behaved."
He pinched his brows and plopped down on the one-man sofa beside the bed.
"Now what do I do with you?" He wondered, his hand stroking his jaw.
"Should I have fun with you?" He kept pondering, and a grin crept up his face. "I probably should, but I won't really like to do that with you, unconscious. Hmm."
He exhaled and got up from the couch.
He climbed into the bed on top of Everly and stared down at her.
"How pretty…" He mumbled and leaned down to place a soft kiss on her forehead. "You always smelt so good. Like a freshly watered garden." He smiled heartily, happy to have her beneath him again.
