After the three came out of Yue Ran's ward, they immediately heard laughter and clamors that only indicated joy.
Jiang Yi stiffly separated from both Rui Qin and Jin Yao after hearing such noises and watched as the two disappeared from his sight.
Rui Qin was following Jin Yao into his ward in the same hospital.
As soon as the two entered, the coldness on Rui Qin's face disappeared and instead changed into one of worry.
"Xiao Yao, are you unwell? When did it happen? Is it serious?"
Jin Yao sat on the hospital bed with a slight smile on his pale face, but he chose not to tell Rui Qin the truth. He didn't want to make Rui Qin any more worried than she already was.
"It's not a serious illness; I'm just a little shocked; it's nothing serious, Sister Qin; don't worry."
