When Fiona woke it was still dark outside, she tossed and turned on her pallet determined to get more rest but sleep eluded her.
She decided to go for a walk just to clear her head and didn't even realize that she ended up in her old room.
The hole in the wall had yet to be fixed and the cool air drifted inside and made her shudder but not in a bad way.
Fiona sat on the edge of the bed for a while, so deep in thought, she didn't plan to stay long because the room was getting colder and her nightdress was thin.
But she wasn't quite ready to return to the room she shared with the other women, just a few minutes longer.
She wasn't even aware when she dozed off…
