''Should I sit down?'' Angelo asked his stepsister, Lexi. Instead of answering Angelo's question, Lexi stepped back from him, fearful of what he might do to her.
''You're supposed to be dead,'' She said, but quickly shut her mouth as she saw him raise his eyebrows, and he smiled at her, but something about his smile was far from kind.
She watched as he allowed himself into her apartment and shut the door behind himself, and once the door slammed shut, there was complete silence as Angelo simply stared at his sister.
''Dead? Now, sister, why would I be dead? Can you not see that I am in good health?'' He told his stepsister calmly and comfortably. Lexi's back was now against the wall once she realized that the person standing before her was not a ghost but was really her brother in flesh.
''I am so sorry,'' she apologized, because Angelo being alive meant only one thing: that the doctor had failed at his task of ending Angelo's life.
