Emly could not help but watch in horror as every police officer walked towards Joe's body, which had already begun bleeding. Looking with horror, Emily had quickly come to the realization that Joe had no chance to begin with. Emily looked up as she heard the loud footsteps against the deteriorating steel stairs above her, and the look of horror plastered her face.
This was all planned. She sadly thought to herself. She wanted nothing more than to run to his body, which lay on the cold concrete floor. In the time that she had been married to Joe, he rarely cared for her, and now all she had was sympathy for him.
