The next day
"What have you found?"' Angelo asked as he walked into the coroner's office with Tito walking right behind him. Angelo made sure that the results of both the detective's autopsy and the imposter's body were done within twenty-four hours of their deaths.
Without saying much, the coroner handed Angelo an envelope, and it was now up to Angelo to read what it said. Impatient and wanting to desperately know what was inside the envelope, Angelo ripped it open to read what was inside.
Once the results of the autopsy were revealed, Angelo was left lost for words because nothing made sense. He lifted his head and looked right into Tito's eyes, and it seemed as though Tito was thinking the very same thing as Angelo was.
Angelo shut his jaw; there was no need for him to display any signs of shock. He was the Don, and he had to remain calm at all times. Clearing his throat, Angelo turned his attention toward the coroner. "So you're saying that?"
