"Madam, are you sure that it was Mr. Taj leaving with Fiona that night?" The detective questioned Emily, and without hesitation, Emily shook her head in agreement. The detective looked her in the eye before jotting something down in his notes.
"Have you seen them together on other occasions?" he continued.
"No, I have not," she answered honestly. The detective dropped his pen on the table and let out a loud breath, as though he were defeated before the work had begun.
"Are you sure that both Ms. Fiona and Mr. Taj were not out having a business meeting?'
"Those two have nothing going on between them," Emily responded bitterly. After she ran out of Taj's apartment, she ordered Taj's guards to lock him inside, the police later arrived and cuffed him. Not long after that, the media had swarmed the building, but luckily for Emily, the security personnel had taken her out through the back.
