A stupid question at the pizza parlour yesterday afternoon ended up floating in the air with no definitive answer from Jayde. After that question we both became awkward. Jayde was visibly gawking, probably in shock that I suddenly threw that question at him. Even with that serious look on my face, Jayde didn't take it as a joke at all. In fact, he then became rather quiet and we didn't talk about anything until the way home. Only Rose and Anna filled the awkwardness between us. Occasionally I respond to their chatter and chat with Anna or Rose. But Jayde remained as still as a statue. He didn't look like the usual Jayde. Jayde who likes to joke with me.
