Jayde stepped back and walked back to Ivy's room without making a sound. Abraham's firm and angry words were ringing in his head. The man, who unfortunately is his own dad-in-law, thinks of him as a man with no future and will only depend on Ivy for his life. Those are really very harsh words to say. Even though it is not said openly even in front of the subject of conversation.
"Is that bad in the eyes of Abraham Milano," Jayde muttered bitterly.
