Victor Chen was a very shady person, according to many rumors. He was the son of a very prestigious businessperson and he used his influence to do whatever he wanted. He also liked looking down on people, and there was word that he had actually started a gang that terrorized people in the city.
He did lots of things, yet he got away with all of them because his father would pay for his record to be cleaned. If he wanted something, then that thing would be his, even if he had to kill to get it! Many people were very afraid of him.
He changed women like he changed his clothes. You would see him with a new woman every day because they loved the money he had. He would also get bored very easily, and it was very hard to keep track of whatever he was thinking at every moment.
Cindy Richards looked at the man once more, "I asked if I may help you!"
The man had a lot of scars, "Sir wants to see you."
Cindy Richards almost laughed, "He wants to see me, but that does not mean that I have to see him. Who does he think he is?"
Victor Chen's lackey looked angry, "Who do you think you are to refuse our young master?"
Cindy Richards was getting very tired of this person. Olivia Ashford also came close and asked, "What is happening here?"
Cindy Richards sighed, "He said his sir wanted to see me, but I don't want to see him!"
Olivia Ashford looked at the man and understood that this had to be Victor Chen's lackey. She looked around and spotted Victor Chen surrounded by a lot of his bodyguards.
Cindy Richards also looked in his direction and almost puked, "Go tell your sir that if he wants to talk to a woman, he should have the guts to do it himself, not sending some scary-looking people my way! Get lost, I still want to dance!"
She moved away, but the man suddenly dragged her by the hand, "Come with me if you don't want any trouble!"
Olivia Ashford tried to pry his hands from Cindy Richards', "Let go of her!"
His hands were as strong as iron, "My master wants her and he must have her, so you should relax and wait for your turn!"
His words were very derogatory. He was being very unreasonable too. Victor Chen's lackeys felt as if they owned the world and would act however they felt like because he protected them, so Cindy Richards's refusal was making him lose a lot of face. He tried to drag Cindy Richards away by the arm, but Cindy Richards suddenly shook his hand off.
The lackey looked at her in surprise. Cindy Richards was such a small woman but how…how could she have so much power?
Cindy Richards chuckled, "The next time you lay your dirty hands on me will be the last time you have hands!"
Her threat reverberated through the man, and he suddenly felt afraid. Cindy Richards's eyes were also quite chilly, and he felt as though he was getting suffocated just by looking at them.
Olivia Ashford knew trouble was coming, so she pulled Cindy Richards away as soon as the man's arms came off, "C'mon, let us go home."
Cindy Richards also knew that trouble was brewing, so she agreed, and the two of them made to leave, but their way was suddenly blocked by some men.
Olivia Ashford looked at them, "What is the meaning of this?"
Victor Chen was quite interested in Cindy Richards, and there was no way she was going to let her go tonight. He looked at Olivia Ashford, "She is a woman I, Victor Chen, have chosen, so there is no way you are leaving without pleasing me. If you like, I can let you join as well. After all, the more the merrier, right?"
Cindy Richards laughed suddenly, "I know the reason might be that face of yours. So ugly that you are forcing your stupid self on women, how unsightly!"
Victor Chen's eyes changed, "Do you think speaking like that will make me let you leave? On the contrary, I love women who are hard to get. If you beg me nicely later, I may just feel enough pity to let you go!"
Cindy Richards did not have time to deal with this idiot. She tried to leave, but his lackeys were blocking every side. The little interaction was already causing quite a commotion, but no one wanted to join in as they were afraid of what Victor Chen would do to them.
Victor Chen's words were very vulgar, and his eyes seemed to be undressing Cindy Richards, "You are so beautiful, if you are lucky tonight, I may even decide to date you. This is just your lucky day!"
Olivia Ashford shouted, "What do you think you are doing? Do you even know who she is?"
Victor Chen sneered, "Even if she was the president's daughter, do you think I would care?"
He looked at his lackeys, "Hold her and bring the liquor. I want to see how bashful she would be after drinking some?"
Cindy Richards's beauty was driving him crazy, and if he could not have any of that, then he was going to destroy something very soon. He was used to getting everything that he wanted, and today was not the day that changed.
His lackeys followed him as though he was a god. They moved in towards where Cindy Richards was standing and tried to hold her. Olivia Ashford screamed, "Don't let those filthy hands get close to her or else…"
Victor Chen laughed, "Or else what?"
Cindy Richards watched them close in on her and felt a tinge bit afraid. She knew better than to cause trouble outside as her dad had warned her multiple times, but now that she was in this situation, she thought about the person she should not be thinking about, Alexander Sterling.
She suddenly sighed, Alexander Sterling was going to be very mad.
