"Where is she?!" the chief roared, looking around, but to no avail.
Hera disappeared without a trace. How was that possible? There was only one entrance and exit in this room and that was the door behind him. She couldn't go past him unnoticed, even with the fog.
"What —" the chief abruptly stopped when the huge monitor showed a profile of different people. Everyone slowly raised their heads, dilating their eyes at the profiles displayed one after another. They had been in this field for years, and they instantly recognized the brief details on the front page of the profiles.
The files consisted of photos, names, and what they were known for. Personal information was also in them, including the long list of crimes they committed and the organization they were part of. Some photos were of people they never saw in their lives, but their names were something that they were familiar with.
