"Then can we ask for a confirmation, Your Majesty?" Spencer asked, albeit weakly as compared to his first question.
Archibald could tell that their reaction was not because they feared facing a demon for the first time. Instead, it was fear of facing a demon, that's all.
"Yes. According to Julian, it was a demon egg that was about to hatch maybe a month or two."
They felt like cold water was poured on them all of a sudden.
They had an idea and already felt like questioning their lives. But having a confirmation is different than having none.
