Caroline blinked.

She did not think so but she was also not thinking about lying a while ago. After all, it was the life of her mother and her brother Mathew that was on the line. If she lies then it is the same as not caring for their lives a bit.

He raised an eyebrow at her confidence with her answer.
"I have seen so many things in this short period that I have lived. I watched the royals, the nobles, the common people, the poor, the slaves, and even the bandits and rebels. I have watched even the beasts to the point where I can even tell when they will run amok or when they started fearing the ones in front of them."
Caroline's mouth dropped. Even the beasts? She can tell how the beasts would react?
Isn't she more amazing than how Caroline had pegged her to be?
