Genevieve was brought over to the barracks the next day.
She saw the injured and after asking around, she found that most were the ones who were at the back.
Even though Edgar did not say anything, she still found out and guilt gripped her heart.
Some even died.
She walked over to where the fallen knights were waiting to be buried.
She lowered her head and looked at the coffins.
"Where is the princess?" Edgar came over, half an hour later.
"Sir, the princess has been standing by the coffins for half an hour now. We tried speaking to her but she remained silent," one answered.
Edgar slightly furrowed his brows and walked over to where she was.
"They have now rested. It is time to move forward."
